Drama builds confidence
— on stage and beyond
For more than 20 years, Susan Rudd has been inspiring children at Sacred Heart School to discover the joy of drama and performance.
A trained Primary School teacher with a background in Creative and Performing Arts, Susan brings warmth, experience and plenty of fun to every class. She has produced and co-directed many Sacred Heart musicals, including The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin and Seussical Kids.
Classes are energetic, encouraging and designed to help every child feel included. Through drama games, movement, improvisation, character work, voice projection and performance, children develop confidence, creativity, communication and teamwork — skills that reach well beyond the stage.
And when performance nerves appear, Susan helps children with simple breathing and mindfulness techniques so they can step on stage feeling calm, prepared and proud.
